about

No, really... what IS this thing?
Mike Conrad’s inventive re-working of the Cole Porter classic begins with an ethereal texture using dissonant harmonies. On this track, we hear solos from Kenyon Brenner (tenor saxophone) and Matt Landon (guitar). Combinations of muted brass with thickly-scored woodwinds and strings show up throughout the arrangement.
